Nassau County Alarm Permits
Important information for residents of Nassau County.
If your home or building is located in Nassau County and served by the Nassau County Police Department, you must have a current Burglar Alarm permit on file.
If your city or village is not served by the Nassau County Police Department (e.g., Hempstead, Glen Cove, Old Brookville, Freeport, Kings Point, Lynbrook, etc.), then you do not need a Nassau county permit, but you may be required to have a permit issued from your local jurisdiction.
Once you have received your permit number, please provide it to us so that we can maintain it on file.
