Consumers guide to obtaining a Nassau County Burglar Alarm permit
If your home or building is located in NassauCounty, and served by the Nassau County Police Department, you must have a current Burglar Alarm permit on file. The permit requires basic information to assist the police in identifying the location of your home or business, to facilitate the job of the 911 operator, and precipitate the dispatching of a patrol car.
If your city or village is not served by the Nassau County Police Department, such as Hempstead,Glen Cove, Old Brookville, Freeport, Kings Point, Lynbrook, etc. then you do not need a Nassau county permit, but you may be required to have a permit issued from your local jurisdiction

Once you have received your permit number, please provide us the permit number so that we can maintain the permit number on file with the central station.
